Authentic Lars Ulrich signature – how much to sell it for?

I’m trying to do some research on how much authentic Metallica autographs are. I have the album “Kill em’ All”, with all of the guys’ signatures on the front including Lars Ulrich (who was their old drummer who died). I do not have the vinyl but I figured the signatures are more valuable than the record.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I wanted to sell it on ebay but have no clue what to start the listing at etc…
Yes, I just found this out. It does have Cliff Burton’s signature on it as well.
I’m actually doing it for a friend, it’s not mine – they really do not want to sell it but they’re in quite a bit of debt and they think that selling this might get them a nice chunk of change…

I need help with paypal!, Please??!?

Okay, so back in January I decided to sell a tonne of stuff via ebay.

I already had a paypal account, and had bought stuff off ebay before.

When I was doing some research on selling stuff on ebay, I read that you cant sell stuff on ebay unless you have a business account, so I upgraded, and so far I have made the best part of £2000 since January, off and on selling, because I was an avid vinyl record collector, and I had quite a few valuable ones I made quite a bit.

Anyway, I have just made another £300 on Sunday, and I have logged onto paypal, and they have limited my account!

I cant put my earnings into my bank account, and I cant send any money to anybody either.

It says that I have had two £1 withdraws from my account, and I should get a four digit code on my credit card statement, and my business statement, then when I enter them, I will be able to use my account again.

Problem is…

I don’t own a credit card.

I don’t own a business account.

So I don’t know where they have taken the money from, and I don’t know where those codes are..

I called up my bank and after going from call centre to call centre, and going through security check to security check, I finally got to a bloke who read me all the paypal transactions, and there are none saying that £1 taken from paypal, and no paypal transactions have a 4 digit code in the description.

I don’t know what to do…

Can I downgrade my account?
I upgraded it, because I thought I had to, but I was naive, and I didn’t know I didn’t have to…
Can I downgrade?

Its doing my head it, does anybody know what I am talking about???

Help me find this 70′s band!?

Late 70′s or early ’80′s, this band did a little tour of Anytown USA. The name of the band was Freewheelin’. If my memory serves, one of the members (the drummer, maybe?) was named Kevin Fabish.

They sold records at their little show (in my town, their show was held in the auditorium of Podunkville High School. a very small venue, but I’m pretty sure they packed it.)

Two of the songs from the record were You, Baby and Talking on the Telephone.

I would really LOVE to find a copy of this record (yep.. vinyl, baby) and/or anything that might be in a more modern format.

Anyone else out there catch this fun little band way back when?

Thanks!

Is Songs In The Key Of Life the best album ever?

Some joker on Yahoo is running a list of the Top 20 Albums Ever today. The list is pretty good until it gets to number one: Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder. I bought that album when it was new and it was so-so, IMO. I tried to sell it later to a vinyl records store and I couldn’t give it away. It was so unpopular the store owner didn’t want it.

Below is a link to the list.

any good music stores in Atlanta?

as in music stores, i mean like the ones that sell cds (not instruments). I haven’t found something good yet, and i’m looking for something like TOwer Records or Eat more records and stuff. If it’s possible, it would be nice if they sold vinyl too.

any info?

Do I have to give this guy on ebay a refund?

Okay, about 3.5 months ago I sold about 100 vinyl records via ebay.
I sent all the records fully insured and I kept the receipts for about 3.5 months, I had thrown them out recently, because I have never had to wait for 3.5 moths for a small package before. and now some Russian chap has told me he hasn’t got it, this far after selling them, and this is one of the last records I sent out of the bunch and now he is saying he doesn’t have it.

I mean, If I waited 3-4 weeks I would send the guy a message asking why I haven’t got it yet, but 3.5 months?

I didn’t keep them, and I always send a message telling them that they are on their way when I get home from the post office.

Do I have to refund this guy?

He left it a little late, and it isn’t fair on me that he left it so late that I binned my receipt for the insure package.

U.K squeeze album. I have a question.?

I want to sell some of my vinyl records on ebay. I have one record which is called U.K Squeeze with a red 12″ album. It looks like it might be a late 70′s but on the back it stamped ” Do not sell only for demostration”. Do you think that still applies today?

Can anyone direct me to laws that prohibit or allow the sharing of a copy of a CD with one friend?

When cassette tapes superceeded 8-track and vinyl, record labels were nervous that copied cassette tapes would put them out of bussiness. The law that came from that debate allowed for making a copy for a friend but prohibited the sell or mass distribution of that material. Is this still the case? Can anyone show me where to find this law?
