What makes a person a HUGE fan of a band?
I was just wondering what you guys thought. I consider myself a huge fan of nirvana, foo fighters and sonic youth because i know there whole music catalog and just knowing so much stuff and facts about the band. So what makes a person a huge fan?
BQ1- does anyone else hate it when people act like huge fans but only know like 3 songs?
BQ2- anyone collect vinyl records? i do and people always make fun of me for it
BQ3- what bands are you a huge or die hard fan of?
yeah i definitely agree with you guys its not about owning the t shirts and other merchandise. its insane how much crap some bands have. Like Kiss has everything imaginable there’s like Kiss coffins, belts, socks, credit cards, stuffed animals
oh yeah thanks for reminding my cheeky! i love queens of the stone age i forgot to mention them, haha i guess im not a good fan if i forget them..

Basics of Record Collecting?
As someone who just started to collect vinyl again, I’m after original releases. Id love some advice (and links) on how to identify originals (I notice sellers quoting catalog numbers but don’t know how to check these online, and how to understand the abbreviations most sellers use (ie, NEX/EXTONM, TONEX/NEXTOEX etc). Also any good sources online for buying. I’ve used sites like MusicStack but even their advance search doesn’t offer a filter of ‘original pressings’. Your help is greatly appreciated and all good resource links are welcome!

Just bought a “Double Fantasy” vinyl album, by John Lennon, and was wondering if it was an original or not?
Ok, i went to antique store and bought an 1980 edition of “Double Fantasy.” I was wondering if the vinyl i bought was an original pressing or not. Any indications, record label or catalog numbers perhaps? IDK, anything would help. Please and Thank You! =)

How do i know if i have an original Let It Be vinyl record from 1970?
I just bought a vinyl record of Let it Be of The Beatles in a antique row, and i was wondering if there were any easy indicators that let me know that it’s a first pressing/original.
The apple on the record is red and the song “Maggie Mae” has only P.D. after it…what does it mean? I know what p.d stands for but i read something about this and that it helps determine wether it’s an original…. i don’t know…any help at all would be really great.
Oh and here is the record/catalogue number. AR 34001
Any questions about the record if you guys need it, go ahead and ask me. Thanks!
Oh and no suggestions to take it somewhere to see if it really is original or not, that’s the whole point of me posting this question up.
