How do you setup to sell things on Ebay? Is it worth doing just to sell 100 books and a few miscellaneous ite?
I have been donating lots of books, movies, cd’s, etc. to local libraries. Now I really need the money and wonder if I should sell them on Ebay. How do I get started? How do I setup, does it cost money to startup? What is hard about it? How do I arrange shipping and what type of shipping should I do for books? Other items? Must you show photos, even of a book? I would probably like to do it if I can average even just a few dollars per book, as I have a hundred or so. Are old vinyl records worth selling ,how do they get shipped? Any info appreciated.

Super-8 movies and cine film of all kinds.
Playing music on an audio tape using a personal stereo. See what happens when you give a Walkman to todays teenager.

Rotary dial televisions with no remote control. You know, the ones where the kids were the remote control.
High-speed dubbing.
8-track cartridges.
Vinyl records. Even today’s DJs are going laptop or CD.
Betamax tapes.
MiniDisc.
Laserdisc: the LP of DVD.
Scanning the radio dial and hearing static between stations. (Digital tuners + HD radio bork this concept.)
Shortwave radio.
3-D movies meaning red-and-green glasses.

Should I pre-order this cd?
I am a HUGE Hole/Courtney Love fan and today I found out you can pre-order the new album, Nobody’s Daughter.
Here is the price and what you get:
$54.99
. CD w/ digital download
. Nobody’s Daughter Sash
. Vinyl
. Cassette USB w/ album and unreleased photo collection
…Now…I am not sure if I should get this…
I definitely want the cd, but you get a vinyl. I don’t own any vinyl records and would have nothing to play it on. It seems like something cool to own, though…
What do you think? Should I get the pre-order or just buy the album at the store?
Thanks!
~K.

Does anyone know how much 1959 Marilyn Monro vinyl worth?
I am of UK orign and brought over with me a copy of Marilyn Monroe singing “I want to be loved by you” wth 2 other songs. on a EP vinyl. This version is dated 1959 and even though I have searched high and low and asked for appraisals, no one seems to know how much this is worth (if anything at all) or how I came about to owning this version. I hav looked on the nternet and found a 1958 but not with the sleeve which I have, which has a photo of marilyn on with just above it POOP POOP DE POOP which is part of the words she sings on the record.
Digital Photo Printing
Science and Technology have made our life simpler and easier. All those innovative devices, purported to create a comfortable living for humanity, have done immense service to us. Digital photo printing is one such innovation. This is totally different from yesteryear’s mechanism. Today, this methodology has undergone a noticeable sea-change. Thanks to digital cameras, one need not wait for a long time to see the photo. Soon after clicking, you can see the image and if not satisfied, you can try for another shot- for a better image of a cherished moment or a golden memory.
The processing stage has been subjected to a paradigm shift. Digital photos can be taken right off of the camera, uploaded to the system. If you want to preserve your photo, you can have a digital copy. Digital photo printing has brought a number of benefits to the consumers. It is possible to change the photo before getting printed. If the dreaded “red eye” effect is to be avoided, if you wish to add special effects for the images, if you want to reshape or crop the images, it can be done with digital photos.
When you are using a digital photo printing service, you can define your options. Consumers need not resort to traditional photo processing methods. They can have a master copy for record. They can develop any number of copies. They can enlarge or downsize the copies. In the absence of a digital camera, scanning the images, editing and printing – all these activities or possible.
In the digital printing process, photos are directly printed from a computer. Professional digital photo printing is a technical method by which printing is linked to computers, in record turnaround time and with minimal production expense. It ensures quality service. Such service providers cater to the demands of individual customers. They appoint creative professionals for this purpose. They are available for on-demand and short run color printing. Materials such as vinyl and fabrics can be used for digital printing. Papers used range from costly glossy paper to normal non-glare papers.
The following attributes are expected from professional digital photo printing services.
* D.P.P service providers are expected to offer easy-to-follow steps for ordering.
* Best quality prints should be offered by D.P.P service providers. These prints should be similar to the original photos.
* For higher quantity of orders, the photo printing services should be provided at nominal charges.
* Shipping charges to be kept at moderate level. Strong and rigid packaging is to be arranged.
* P.D.P.P services should provide fast turnaround times without additional expenses.
Many companies offer their services through their websites. Internet can be accessed to locate the addresses of premium companies, types of service offered, charges collected and after-sales services.
Digital photo printing has altered the photo printing technology. D. P. P ensures quality of work and intensity of effort. Crystal clear photographs printed out in classic papers have become a reality. This can done at home. You have to buy an ink jet printer with around six colors. You also need photo-editing software. The price will be around $ 120. It will have color adjustment and correction, brightness control panel and auto focus control and such most modern features. The paper used should be of class one standard. Printers come with cartridges and photo papers. The images stored in the cameras can be transferred onto photo paper by these printers. Without computers, direct prints can be taken. Using memory card slits installed in some printers, we can get direct printouts without exhausting camera battery.

How do I put a vintage outfit together for a photo shoot?
It’s needed for a creative shot for our grad pictorial. theme is our own personality. thing is since it’s a photo shoot it should be exaggerated with the clothes and props. I usually wear a long retro looking shirt & skinny jeans for the said look. but i need to add some “oomph” to the vintage feel.
SO ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED…specifically with these areas (feel free to add more suggestions tho):
> What shoes should I wear? Chucks or Flats?
> What accesories should I add? (I was thinking white oversized sunnies? A beret-ish hat? A long necklace?)
> What props should I include? (I wanted to use vinyl records or something but I have no idea where to get those…I need other prop ideas)
ONLY HELPFUL COMMENTS PLS. THANKS IN ADVANCE.
Links to pictures are appreciated too ![]()
TO LILLYBREEZE – Of course in the picture I wont be able to portray my whole personality since that would be too complex so I’m focusing on the vintage thing…sort of vintage-lover or laid back vintage — something like that.
R&P: Would you rather recieve a bunch of song downloads or just a plain vinyl record? (+a fewBQs)?
This question is just out of curiosity. I just feel like asking these random BQs
BQ: Would you rather read a book or one of those e-book/Kindle things with a bunch of downloads?
BQ2: A photo or a flashback?
BQ3: pillow or a blanket?
BQ4: A postcard or e-mail?
BQ5: video or slideshow with music?

Hey, thanks everyone for answering so far. I feel a bit more lightened up looking at your answers. Even though it’s my birthday (or a few minutes past it), I did feel a little depressed after digging back into some memories, especially one that gave me a heavy flashback, but thanks.
