Vintage vinyl…..45′s and 33′s……?
I have recently been purchasing old 45 RPM records for a decorating project. I have noticed that many of the 45′s I see for sale have had a small hole drilled through the paper label covered part–right beside the hole used for stacking the record on the turntable. Anybody have any idea why that would have been done? Could it be the equivalent of paperbacks with the front cover torn off? (when they were donated, etc instead of sold)
Rollover Mikey….Ah. I thought as much. Thanks for the info!

Find the angular velocity of the motion in rad/s. And find the period of the motion. I have no idea how to do this problem.
Thank you!!
i think an RPM is 2pi
I had my little brother help, when we tried, we got
0.4719751 for the 1st question
and

So I bought this 45 rpm record of Grateful Dead’s ‘Touch of Grey’…?
It’s awesome, it’s pressed in light gray vinyl and comes with a poster with a scene from the ‘Touch of Grey’ music video on one side and random stuff like tour dates on the other. My problem is that it has ‘Touch of Grey’ on the A AND B sides. Both sides are 4:14 long so it’s not even like it’s a shorter and longer version. The poster says it should have ‘Touch of Grey’ on the A side and ‘My Brother Esau’ of the B side. I tried to look it up online and found this website [ http://www.lonestardeadradio.com/vinyl.htm ] and towards the bottom talks about a bunch of presses of the ‘Touch of Grey’ single, but none seem to match my copy. Is this a fake repress? Or do I possibly have something cool here? I bought it for a friend of mine who is a DeadHead and I just want to try to figure it out before I give it to him and he laughs in my face or something. Any help or additional information would be great!
