Vinyl Records Value

Am I being stupid with my cd collecting?

I feel like buying two of the same cds. One to open and upload to my ipod, the other to keep it sealed and saved to collect. I feel like doing this for all my underoath records. they aren’t the beatles, but they are my favorite band.

btw anyone know where i can find a gold they’re only chasing safety vinyl?

I mean does an opened and used cd just for a one time uploading to the computer ruin the value? or is it no longer mint? It’s for my own collection. I don’t think i’ll sell it. well who knows.

Burzum Filosofem original LP?

Does anyone know the approximate value of an original Burzum Filosofem double vinyl released by Misanthropy Records? its the one with the 2nd etched blue record. Its in excellent condition and still has the insert and booklet in perfect condition. I paid about a hundred dollars for it like ten years ago.

How much is an Abby Road (Beatles) vinyl worth?

I just recently bought an Abby Road record from a garage sale in Sacramento and I was shocked to see that it was in pristine condition. The casing/cardboard hold around the record is a tad worn, but totally legible and visible. And the record itself looks brand new…

Honestly, I have no idea what it is worth and I wish you could tell me. I tried to do some research, but the ones that I saw were only a couple bucks. After a while I saw that they were being made by a company called LP Records. Well, the one I bought myself is from the original Apple Records.

So yeah, I was totally psyched to get it for a dollar, as well as a couple of their other sets, but it is Abby Road that I am interested in on seeing it’s value.

Any ideas?

most are in OK condition. some covers are torn but the records still play.

Used Video Games & Vinyls?

Does anyone know any good stores for buying used video games, vinyl records, etc.? I can find plenty of larger, mainstream stores like Value Village & Salvation Army, but does anyone know of any good small stores that sell used video games like for SNES, NES, Atari, Sega Genesis, etc.? Also looking for vinyl records, CDs, etc. Any pawn shops or small specialty shops in the west half of Washington state (maybe as far East as Wenatchee or so) would be appreciated.

Trying to find them on Google is like trying to find several different needles in several different haystacks because all the search methods only allow you search by city. Superpages gives a good list but even then it seems limited.

In your opinion is being a “goody-goody” good or bad?

My friends and I get called goody-goodys alot of the time. I have two best friends (one boy and one girl) and I guess you could say we’re pretty …innocent. None of us have ever done drugs or smoked or had sex before (we’re all 16 and in grade 11). I’ve never had a boyfriend before, I don’t wear revealing clothing or alot of makeup. I don’t get in trouble …I think the worst thing I have done was skip PE class a few times. We all get pretty good grades, and I’m a candy striper, a girl scout, and I play two instruments, so I guess I’m a bit of an over-achiever. I have some unusual hobbies for a teenager (for example I like old music and collect vinyl records). I have a good family and my parents have always taught my siblings are I to “do the right thing” and “try your best”, etc etc. And my parents have pretty old-fashioned values like we eat dinner togehter and spend time outside instead of sitting watching tv all day. I know better then to do drugs and smoke then some of the other kids at my school. I don’t try to rub it in anyone’s face, my friends and I are really nice and we have friends at school, but some people make fun of us for being “immature”. Personally I think it’s good to not grow up too fast and enjoy your childhood. I know how to have LOTS of fun (trust me we always have alot of fun!) but safely and without getting into trouble and being disrespectful. I love myself and my friends and my parents and I know that my family is proud of me for being a good kid. And I would rather be a goody goody then a bad kid. What’s your opinion?

anyone know where I can sell old vinyls in the UK?

While clearing out space for renovation to take place in the house mum came across her and grandpa’s old vinyl record collection. Obviously my sister and I are no longer interested in these and also the means to play them is no longer around the house (it broke years ago!) and mum is curious on how much they are worth. I’ve looked around online and can’t find anyone in Newport, Gwent South Wales who we can ask to value them and possibly buy them off us…

Please don’t suggest Ebay or any auction site as we don’t even know a selling price and not many collectors will look on ebay… I’d prefer to go into shops.

Signed Pink Floyd Album Value????

I own a Pink Floyd The Wall album (vinyl) I have a letter of Authenticity from 4/25/05. The letter states

To Whom it may Concern,
The item-Record album US LP -Pink Floyd – The Wall in Near Mint condition. Autographed by Nick Mason, David Gilmour, Roger Waters. Also has “Pink Floyd” written by Nick in the upper left hand corner. It appears that David attempted to write his name and rewrote it. After examining this piece and receiving this item for donation from Richard Kudolla. I declare it authentic and to be as it seems to be. An autographed record from the artists of Pink Floyd.

Note-Richard Kodolla was the Senior Vice President of CBS Records. This Comes from his private collection and was autographed in person to him.

Anyone know what this worth? (Black Keys White Vinyl LP)?

I’ve checked Ebay and GEMM but can’t seem to find a value on the first pressing on the Black Keys – Big Come Up record that’s on white vinyl. Anyone have any ideas?
